Todd Gossett is one of the cohosts of Spokane Stories, and when you get to know Todd you'll find quickly that he lives for the sport of basketball. In this episode he tells the story of how he came to love the game and how he learned to coach it. In hearing Todd's story, you'll be inspired by his love of basketball and how he's befriended so many people through the game.

Alain Turcotte joined us to share his journey through life, going from his childhood in Northern Ontario through college, experiences in Europe, a few years in the Jesuits, jobs in teaching, copier repair, and handiman work, and now retirement in Spokane. In all of it, Al has walked through life, experiencing all that is around him.

The return of Herb! After we shared Herb Batterson's story in January, many of you asked for more Herb, and Herb was happy to oblige. He shares a story of, as a younger man, a treacherous day spent on a logging job and with it many thoughts on work and life. We proud to call Herb our first official Friend of the Show.

Herb Batterson looks back on 1960, when he was a freshman in high school, and a night with his two friends, neither of whom lived a long life.
